AMAN KI ASHA

AMAN KI ASHA” is the initiative taken by the two very popular media groups “Times of India” and “Jung group” of India and Pakistan. Journalism is the presenter of the intellectual forces of a society so it has a chief role in the creating any of the public opinion. Thus it is a judicious move to make peace among the two furious neighbors of South Asia.  Conceivably it is for the first time in the history of subcontinent; that such efficient media groups have taken the duty to bring peace and harmony to the region.
If we go through the history of Pakistan and India, it is full of militaristic situations and antagonism. But at this instant these two media groups have initiated a new history to renounce all those preceding pessimistic, destructive and gloomy roles of media. This step actually deserves admiration. However this sanctified task now laid some responsibilities on these media groups. First of all we have to understand that though this initiative is taken by the media groups but it is moral duty of all the Indians and Pakistanis to move ahead and make “AMAN KI ASHA” a successful venture.
I would love to see politicians building an environment of conviction, an ambience where both the nation could take a look at their in-house problems first, without stabbing the nose in each other’s matters. The politicians of both countries must pay attention towards the internal problem of their nation for e.g. illiteracy, terrorism, women exploitation, and malnutrition and child exploitation.
To get a move on this venture the media from both countries must make sure that any of such news stories that can disturb the peace between Pakistan and India must not be publicized. Media and especially the electronic media have to understand that hiking the provoking stories can disrupt “AMAN KI ASHA”. I have mentioned here the electronic media particularly as the common man is more in touch with electronic media rather than the print media. On the other hand all those pressure groups and political parties must be dejected openly on media whose only aim is to disrupt “AMAN KI ASHA”.
The issues between Pakistan and India are approximately 6 decades old. It’s high time now to solve them. There must be such serene talk shows on media which can result in shaping a pragmatic approach towards these issues. It’s a dilemma that whenever our governments tried to resolve the Kashmir matter, they were interrupted either by external powers or some internal segments. So every time the matter rebounds to where we were. We need to create more empathy for each other's nation most importantly.
We are inexorable when it comes to exchange a few words.  In my opinion internet is the preeminent source of communication with people all over the world about “AMAN KI ASHA”. “Blogs.worldbank.org” has started a forum where in people can put on their views about this venture and also help this move on to a success. This forum is a great way to get the people more and more in touch with venture as we the youth today is totally immersed in online activities .Though common man still is not much aware of this great deed. It has to be publicized more. More and more talk shows, road shows and documentaries must be arranged to engross common man into this venture.
The only way out what I have felt is by more of people to populace interaction.
It’s unbelievable, that even after 60 years of independence we are still trapped in the web of wars, war of words and criticizing each other. After three wars and billions spent on Arms and ammunitions, we didn’t achieve anything. Anything at all!
I say move ahead for the peace movement, however there will be some in favor and some against it, I am in favor of not only peace but I also yearn for free borders between the two nations, actually, In my opinion we should have a "United States of India", we were “ONE”, and we again must be “ONE”
Our subcontinent was separated because the partition served the purpose of some; they were neither Pakistanis nor Indians. MAHATMA GANDHI JI was correct, we should have AKHAND BHARAT.
There are many more gestures that we can make for bringing peace between the two countries
Ø  The first attempt should be to see within ourselves whether we have any innate bias/abhorrence for the people of the other nation and if yes try to lessen it by asking yourself why you have such feelings.
Ø  Have debates and discussions between family members and friends on issues of socialism and faith, and instead of letting people ignore these problems with inborn biases, try to revolutionize their thinking towards fair verdict about everything like history, religion etc.
Ø  Make posters, greeting cards, wall papers etc containing messages of peace, disarmament and friendship etc. and send them to all people you know from your neighboring country with sweet messages of love.
This is a very small gesture in this venture of peace but it is a step in the right direction.

ALL THAT WE WANT IS PEACE

They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."If there is to be peace in the world,There must be peace in the nations. If there is to be peace in the nations,There must be peace in the cities. If there is to be peace in the cities,There must be peace between neighbors. If there is to be peace between neighbors,There must be peace in the home.If there is to be peace in the home,There must be peace in the heart. shattered pakistan is even more dangerous for us Pak is just about to shatter,is a news for us to be happy? Not of course.it is not at all a good sign for us ,not becuase we are scared that next may be our country but because we cant afford TALIBANIS as our next door neighbourers. One could say that for PAK it is just tit for tat,we can say that PAK deserves that as he has been training the terrorists for years, and as we all know taht the one dig the whole for others ,falls himself in it.

HOW CAN IT BE MORE DANGEROUS FOR US ? Lets concentrate on AJMAL KASAB'S statement, that he became a terrorist as they were very poor and couldnt afford even three times meals a day.It was the frustration of poverty that made KASAB a terrorist.During the attack in hotel TAJ in Mumbai KASAB was asking his masters that on telephone that whether thay sent the money to his mother on account of his death or not.Do u know what ammount was his mother getting for all this ,just 1.5 laks.Just think how can man be ready to kill so many innocent people just for 1.5 laks. What does all this signifies? If TALIBANIS captured PAK all these situations will become worse.TALIBANIS have captured the whole swat valley and peshawar is also under their control. All over in Islamabad they have stick the posters full of illegal warnings .They are forcing the valley people to marry their daughters to the terrorists of their group, its obvious that they want to create next terrorists generations.Do u think it is a good news for us to have such killers as our neighbourers.During the KARGIL war general Parvez Musharraf compromised and now after Mumbai attack also Pak admitted that ,the attackers were from their country, just imagine if MULLA UMAR would have been their in the place of MUSHARRAF ,what would the scene have been.Terrorism is not TALIBANI'S hobby its their proffession.THINK ABOUT IT,CAN WE ALLOW SUCH PEOPLE AS OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOURERS?
